    I have been bugged by the relatively lower battery life after resuming from sleep mode for quite a long time now. No driver updates\BIOS updates\win 7 service pack seem to solve it. Even a motherboard replacement(albeit for a different reason) did not solve the problem. So, It would be great if studio 1558 users post their battery bar info before and after sleep when system is idle.

    Mine are as follows-

    before sleep- disharge rate 1100 mW
    after sleep- discharge rate 1400mW(occasionally shoots to 1600mW)

    All figures at power saver,wlan on, bluetooth off,screen brightness minimum

    I know the difference is not very huge yet in my case, I have a 6 cell battery with 20% wear that translates into 4100 mWhr. So, it does make a difference.

    P.S. All values I have posted are from battery bar, which seem seem incorrect by a factor of 10 in all values(battery capacity is reported as 5200 mwhr which should be 52000 mwhr(Whr))

    FWIW, I've had this same problem with my X200T for the longest time now. My solution has been to hibernate instead of sleep (which solves the problem... by never sleeping), but I'm not very happy with that and might just go back to XP.

    I don't know. I've never figured it out. I've reinstalled several times and tried several different combinations of drivers and never gotten anywhere. If you manage to figure it out, please do tell! I don't even know how to Google this since the term(s)/phrase(s) are so generic/clunky.

    @commander wolf
    By any chance, does your notebook have an integrated webcam or any usb composite device listed in the device manager??
    I think the integrated webcam and the linked usb composite device is causing problems for me. I am using the win7 driver for webcam and have no dedicated driver from the oem.

    I don't have anything that explicitly states that it's a composite USB device, but I'm fairly certain that the tablet digitizer is connected via USB. What makes you think this is the problem?

    Admittedly, I think I may also be using a Windows driver because Lenovo doesn't provide anything...

    I receive bsod about usbvideo.sys in some circumstances. So, it seems there is some issue with the driver. Also, I have searched and found that the BSOD occurs only on x64 version of win 7. I am using win 7 x64 and hope you are using the same.

    Also, when I disable usb composite device using device manager, power consumption increases by approx 2W.

    I am using 32bit. After reading your last post, I tried a couple different digitizer drivers, but none of them seemed to help. Haven't actually had any BSoDs either...
