    How many hours can one expect with the basic battery set up?

    Read some reviews like this. Your question is very vague. Battery life depends on the configuration and the settings you use, for example dedicated VGA or not , Wireless / BT ON or not etc.. And what do you mean basic battery setup ? 6Cell ??

    At college with my 6 cells, wireless on and battery maximized settings I can go 3hrs MAX writing in Word and browsing the web.
