basically i returned my battery today (with dhl) and in the box i put the reciept that dell has sent me. I put the dispatch number on the return box also for the old battery...
now i have this bad feeling like i made a mistake and shouldve kept the reciept. What do you guys think?

Did you photocopy the receipt? And if you have evidence from DHL (like a receipt) that you sent the battery I would not worry to much just keep in touch with customer service regularly.

i got no proof... zero.. i didnt photocopy and dell gives you a prepaid return label.. so i got no reciepts or anything... **** man why did i put the thing dell sent me inside.
I guess i can only hope nothing goes wrong and they recieve it and dont charge me for it right ? -
So you don't even have a tracking number to track it online?

doesnt matter much. once dell gets it back from you they will pull up your info and credit it back to that account. make sure to call them and let them know its coming back though. i accidentally did this with one of the notebooks i sent back i forgot to put the charger in the box and shipped it back separate they took care of it no problems..
