Maybe someone can help me here. I just got a brand new, not even a day old Dell Studio 1537 with a fingerprint reader (obviously) and i can't turn off the annoying beeping noise with the fingerprint reader. Can anyone help me please? I also disabled the beep at the startup, but it didn't work. It's really annoying not having any sound because of an annoying beep.

If you right-click your fingerprint icon in the taskbar, then go to properties, then the general tab, you can disable the beep. I also am having the constant beeping sound, and that is my only solution thus far.
