Just recieved my Vostro 1400, and it's got a AUO 1447 with FULL OF GRAINS on white colour. :(

I am going to call Dell to get a replacement, which panel should I get?
Does LG got 1440X900 resolution panel is it good?

    thanks

AFAIK, you are not going to be able to dictate what screen Dell sends out. They'll send whatever they have available.

I have bought and recieved the computer Greg, I've done a bit of research seem AUO is worst and sec4457 can be good, just not sure if LPL do 14" 1400X900 panel and if it's better.

I am calling Dell to replace it once I know which panel to get, pls help thanks.

Please read the forum rules on bumping post.
Dell will not let you choose what model number panel you get end of story.
You will get what they have in stock.

Sorry read all the rules won't break them again.

Just called Dell and I told the guy I want any other WXGA+ panel SEC/LPL but NOT AUO and make sure there's no grain, he said he will let the technician know and he's coming tomorrow, report will be followed
