Depending on needs, Intel N wireless card, bluetooth, and maybe additional hard drive.

Yeah, your good. Theres really no room for improvement if you max everything out. :)

Maybe you should get a T7200 processor instead for that nostalgic feeling since once Montevina comes out and Nehalem comes out, they will all not be available anymore... jk

They are both Liquid Crystal Displays, hence LCD.

LED and TFT are the backlighting they use. You will want the LED over TFT since LED is light emitting diodes vs CCFL/TFT displays that use fluorescent bulbs. The advantage to LED over TFT are the following:

    - Longer lifetime at about 50,000 hours vs TFT which is rated at 20,000 (based on estimates)
    - TFT bulbs dim after long period of ownership whereas LED doesnt really and if they do dim, it is minimal compared to how fast TFT dims
    - Longer battery life with LED since it uses less power
    - Lighter weight. I dunno about the D830, but the M1530 is 100 grams lighter with the LED display.
    - LED is also noticably brighter and has better contrast and color reproduction than TFT. When I look at my monitor compared to other TFT displays, the TFT displays look very dim compared to it and the color and realism of the LED display really makes me feel I could reach out and touch the landscape in my notebook as the colors are very vibrant.
