    i canceled my order i placed a few days ago and for an even cheaper price(about 10 bucks lol) i went frm a 1.66 to 1.8 and 40GB to 60GB hd ;D

    the stats are

    nspiron E1405 Intel® Core™ processor Duo T2400 (2MB Cache/1.83GHz/667MHz FSB)

    LCD Panel 14.1 inch Wide Screen XGA Display

    Memory 1GB DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz, 2 Dimm

    Hard Drive 60GB Sata Hard Drive

    intel pro wireless and DVD burner

    ill let u know how it works when i get it. it says estimated shipping date june 13. so does that mean i recieve it june 13 or they ship it out on the 13th. im pretty sure it means they ship it from the factory then but just double checking.

    I normally get Dell laptops in < 7 days after hitting SUBMIT.

    halperin ... good for you! I think I am a converted E1405 buyer as well. For the money, I don't think you can beat it.

    I would be interested in your thoughts when you get it and get your opinion on the LCD.

    With my 640m, I ordered it on Monday night. Received a call on Wednesday afternoon, saying when I wanted it delivered. I could have said as early as Thursday evening (5pm to 9pm), so yeah, you should be receiving your lappy pretty soon. :)
