broken headphones without partnumber

hi all
i got a dell m1530. now speaker of the earphone has stopped working. I wanted to check if it comes under any warranty but when i e-mailed technica support they said they nver shipped any earphones tome in the first place. It turns out i dont have a part number for them and they actually came inside the cd-case/manual along wiht the cleaning cloth. so i guess i need a part number for the whole thing maybe. can some one help in this regard

I guess you are talking about the Creative earbuds. You will find the description and the part number for the same in your packing list and invoice. If you find a description of the same in your packing list and invoice, you are most likely entitled to a replacement within your warranty period.

You can request for a replacement Creative Earbud by calling or chatting with Dell XPS Customer Support.

For Creative Earbud EP630 (Usually restriced to US), the part number is 310-9246, the manufacturer part number is 51MZ0085AA007 and the dell part number is A0920911.

For Creative Earbud EP635 (Usually restriced to Europe), the manufacturer part number is 51MZ0086AA001 and the dell part number is A0815061.
