    is there anyway to order a spare 6-cell battery from dell or anywhere else? i know that you can probably use ebay, but i tend to stay away from ebay as much as i can, so is there any other option? thank you.

    If you don't mind trying on eBay, you can probably get them from reputable sellers on there for significantly less.

    on ebay, i see listings for a 6-cell battery that fits an inspiron "600m". is this the small business version of the e1405?
