    buzzing Noise heard when external microphone is connected

    Turn off "microphone boost" in the sound control panel if on, also try another microphone. The shielding for noise is poor on some of these microphones.

    is that buzzing noise a kind of feedback? (microphone receives sound from the speaker)

    if so, adjust the microphone level of the computer (taskbar) by lowering it down to reduce its sensitivity and see if it fixes the problem. that's what i do with my laptop and pc.

    also, use a microphone that is not omnidirectional (picks up almost all the sound). use a cardioid if you find one...
