    calibrate LCD, take away light leakage

    can calibrating take away some of the light keakage i have on my True life wxga+ ? (i dont have a lot, but i want to try if its possible. im glad if the leakage gets smaller of course). i read somewhere about a guy who used Adobe gamma software. someone know how this program works ?

    Light leakage is a problem with the back lighting, when it is uneven, it can't be fixed.

    but i read several threads that you can get smaller leakage with calibrating, (not vanish of course, only smaller). i know that the leakage comes from the CCFL......(backlights)

    backlights and filters not well adjusted. those filters are physical hence we can't fix this.
