reason I ask is I want to game while I am a way and if I could take my 360 and use my laptop as the monitor that would be cool. I have a M1710

    Is it possible ?

I think most of the time the answer to this question is no. If you could get some kind of tv tuner you might be able to do it.

Ya A capture card will do the trick but they are high dollar. Worth it though in the long run! Capture cards are versatile tools

not sure about the capture cards... but u can definitely get a TV tuner for under $100 that works for connecting xbox 360

the bad thing is that there might be some delay/lag...

Capture cards are not what you want to use to game on. Just dont do it. You are better off getting an external monitor or tv.

I thought there would still be some way that you could do it ... but I guess I was wrong.

It would be nice if they supported HDMI input or VGA input on laptops.

I use a 20" Widescreen Dell monitor for my 360 using the MS VGA cable. Currently running at 1280x768 (nearest resolution to the 16:10 ratio). With the Fall dashboard update, MS will support 1680x1050 (my monitor's native resolution). Way to go MS!

There are only outputs, not inputs.
