    It came with the XPS 1530 config I order. But can I install in on other Dell laptops....a Vostro 1400, and a 1720 as well?

    No, there is a constant check program that makes sure its legit. Also, if you need to reinstall windows more than twice it locks your key.

    I dont know about the audio software. But I can install windows as many times as I want to, the key won't lock! Unless you mean, installing it on several different computers?

    The windows key you get from dell is generic dell key. The sound blaster key you get is unique to you.
