i received my replacement on April 18... im just wondering , if i can still get the complete care warranty. ( theres nothing wrong with my laptop)

Call Dell Warranty extensions. Did you recieve this replacement as a part of the initial 21 day total satisfaction policy or did you recieve it as a replacement for another system in a system exchange? If the latter, you may not be able to add complete care or your warranty extension may be a lot more expensive.

did you already have a warranty?? I know I got the 3 year, then about 2 months after I got it, I was able to change it to complete care-- but only for as long as the orig warranty..........

I got complete care about 4 months after receiving my 1420. Did it all on line. Got 3 years for $119. I was surprised there were no questions asked about the condition of my laptop. I decided to get it after reading posts from people who spilled coke, water etc. on their laptops. I am very careful, but you never can tell, accidents happen.

the best thing for you to do is go online to your dell account and see what options you have. You can go as far as paying for it, then cancel b4 you commit it or whatever.
Check it out yourself.........
Dell Support -
If you have onsite warranty, complete care addition for the duration of that warranty is 99 dollars when purchased with the system and can be upto about 200 dollars depending on a combination of factors (usually number of months from system purchase and support history - i.e. how many parts you have replaced, etc.) The algorithm automatically quotes you a price based on your service tag. If you have a good customer history with Dell, I would recommend calling in because the warranty reps usually have a 20% margin in which they can play around with the price and so you may be able to get a slightly better deal.
can i get the complete care warrenty?
