    hi !

    i'm wondering if someone always success to buy a notebook at local dell webiste and ask the sell-man to add other piece which are not shown on the local website ?

    For exemple, i am in France, and on the French dell website, i can't choose a several model for a video card (FX1700) and cpu (Q9300) whereas it is possible on the US website !

    So, if i purchase by phone, can i have more choice in pieces ?? anybody always had this chance ?

    Yes I think you can do that, I dont know if that works in France as well, but here in the U.S. Dell has something called, Dell Plus Part, and that is a part that regulary does not ship with the computer but they can add it to your order, why dont you call and ask them?

    I bought my first Dell in France (my home country) and they are very helpful, maybe even more helpful than the US for some reason...
