    can my dell laptop run vista with aero?

    i have a dell inspiron 1300, and it says on the dell website that i cant run vista with aero, but the graphics card has PS 2.0 and can alocate up to 128mb of ram for video memory. so what else am i missing?

    You might need a dedicated graphics card. We won't know for sure until the release date gets closer.

    This is a great question exas and sure one which will be of great interest. However........ Seeing as it's not even out yet, still in Beta and the fact that MS has a tentitive idea of the requirements, nothing is 100% offical as of yet.

    So while your question has merit, the unfortunate answer is - it's not 100% defined yet.
