    Can you install bluetooth onto a M1210 that didn't come with it configured? Thanks a lot.

    You should be able to, although doing so would probably void your warranty. Even if you decide to install it, get a technician to do it, if you are not experienced with opening up your laptop.

    But you'll need extra hardware.
    You can either buy a usb-stick with bluetooth or you can get the integrated bluetooth chip from Dell. The integrated option will require you to open the m1210 and install a piece of hardware.
    BTW: installing the Bluetooth module will not void your warranty. If you want to be sure you should check with Dell Customer Service.
