how long does it take to cancel a dell order? Do they ask a lot of questions or try to make u reconsider?

Also, what kind of info do you need to cancel ur order?

The people who do the canceling and such dont work on weekends so i just want to make it quick and get everything prepared. Thanks.

that's pretty darn scary if that is true...

for me, they tried to make me reconsidered two or three times before they gave it a go to cancel my order. It really depends on the person you talk to.

If you're dead set on cancelling, just tell them you are planning on reordering a different configuration, then they'll leave you alone.

not always... if you call your CSR to cancel they might be like "ok i'll call you back in an hour..."

yep it depends on who you get though :p

Online chat has the power to cancel orders too.. Thats about the only thing they can do.
Its the only way to cancel after hours.

That's what happened to me. When I cancelled a previous order and told them I was reordering a different model they said no problem.
