how would i go about canceling an order when the product shipped?

Is it the same process? Do i have to pay restocking fee?

The only way is to deny shipment. Call UPS/Fedex when it arrives at your local sort facility and tell them you don't want it/send it back. Or deny shipment when the UPS guy gets to your house for signature. Afterwards, you will need to call Dell to credit your payment, which will take about a week.

Just refuse the package when it arrives, Dell will automatically refund the money once they get the package back. No restocking fee, AFAIK. Might wanna call customer care to double check but that's what told me to do :)

If you've financed the laptop through Dell Financial you should call them as well and let them know you're canceling/refusing so they can make a note on your account.
