I cancelled 1 i1520 due to a better price deal a few days later...

If they don't hurry up I might jump ship and go elsewhere... I'm getting tired of reading about others who ordered after me getting their new i1520s while i seem "stuck" in build...

I canceled my M1330 after getting tired of the wait and not wanting to pay the price premium.

The T61p in my sig below came out to only $1196.40 before tax and $1294.60 w/tax. Sure the T61p is bigger, heavier, and not as nice looking but I got a faster CPU, faster video, and a higher res screen for WAY less $.

I ordered the T61p 8/24/07 and it showed up the morning of 8/28.

    Don't know about this though - ordered a 1420 with T7300 on 08/23 and it's currently in boxing with a 09/07 ESD.

I cancelled my Expresso Brown on the 27th of August, after waiting almost a month after my original ship date of the 3rd came and went.

I called and Dell stated that they couldn't guarantee shipping on the 28th. Judging from the continued delays, I made the right choice.

I order a bigger computer (17") from Sony, same specs almost, and got better financing through Sony than Dell.

Sorry, Dell. You had your chance, lost a preferred customer to the other guys.... Come on Sept 10th. :D

I just cancelled my brown 1720 t7300 inspiron and bought a hp pavilion 9543 at costco, which I'm working on now. 40 days for a laptop is a longtime to wait, then they pushed me back again. Time to go elsewhere...

I too canceled a Dell 1720. I had ordered in July and had ship date of 8/21. Then Dell canceled the order by mistake. I then had to re-order and my new ship date was 9/6.
I was already without a computer since 6/29. No thanks to hypedupsonic. :)
So for what I would have paid for a average Dell, I got a superior (imo) Clevo/Sager.

I don't think you need a reason to cancel... they didnot ask me for one...
As far as getting a better deal maybe... everything I paid extra to get on the Inspiron was standard in my MacBook...
