    cant install 158.45 drivers

    i got vista home basic. i try to install the 158.45 drivers and an error message pops out saying that my OS is not windows vista... wtf ? i have deleted the previous drivers. The screenshot is attatched. Anyone know a solution ?

    hey. here is a thread where driver installation is discussed. read it paying special attention to post #6. it describes how to install drivers from laptopvideo2go.com. i had a similar problem. the link given in the thread includes specific, step by step instructions on how to make this work...

    well thanks to you i got it installed.. i tried running 3dmark06... horrible performance. my 6600 go used to do way better. it got like 1100 during the first video, like 600 during the second and during the third.... i had to close it because it was getting 0-1 fps.... horrific. time to Oc ...

    8600GT should be at least 2 or 3 times faster than a Go 6600 at default clock. Something else is wrong with your machine. What is the final 3D Mark score ?
