I just got a 700m and would like to power it in my car. Any recommendations for what to get and/or where to get it from?

I've seen ones on Ebay that look like they simply convert a car power outlet to a wall outlet (3 prong), but with one of those I'd still need the regular AC adapter for the laptop, which might be okay. I also saw one on Dell's website here: http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/ProductDetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&cs=19&sku=310-4804&category_id=5436, but in the list of supported systems, the 700m isn't included.

i have a car power adapter that i think you are talking about that plugs into the cigarette lighter and then you use the power cord that comes with the computer to plug it in and it works very well. one other benefit of this is that it will work for other things as well as another future laptop

Nice. Where did you get it, and for how much?

i actually got mine from Sams Club for like 29.00 out of a discount bin like 3 years ago but everywhere has them pretty much i have saw them in places like walmart, i have never looked for them but i think they would have them in best buy and store like that but you will probably pay a little more money at a place like that, mine has a place to plug in two different things whether it is a laptop and cell phone or whatever ya want so mine has now lasted through 3 cell phones and 2 laptops so it is worth the investment not to have to buy all the different car chargers
