    changing Studio1557 motherboard with Studio1558

    hi

    can anyone tell me if i can change Dell Studio1557 motherboard with a Dell Studio1558 motherboard.

    my current spec is:
    dell studio 1557
    m\b : CN-0TR557
    vga: ati 4570
    HD: 500GB
    display: 1920x1080
    memory: 4GB DDR3

    I'm asking it, because my VGA chip stop working and i have to change m\b, and if i'm already changing board i would like to change to the ATI5470 that is on the 1558.

    The 1555, 1557, and 1558 all use the same chassis, and the motherboards should all be interchangeable. I think you might need to change heatsinks going from 1555 to 1557/1558, but I'm not sure what's the case between the latter two.
