If a better deal comes out after I purchase but before I receive a laptop, is Dell good about honoring the current deal if I call or email them? Does this even work for things bought with a coupon code when a better code is out?
Or in my case, the same amount coupon code but the base configuration is better so I could get more for the same price.
Also, I wonder if I complain if they will discount my $89 shipping charge? For some reason they only offer overnight to Alaska and don't even discount the $49 off that the rest of the U.S. gets.
Thanks in advance...

The best thing to do when ordering through Dell is to wait until the last day of an offer you know of, such as the up to $750 coupon offer that's running right now, place an order on that day and then if the next round of promotions they have (that will be revealed the next day) nets you a better price it's very easy to change the order. What they make you do is cancel the initial order and then re-order the same thing and get the better price. After a certain point they won't let you cancel an order, usually it's 3-days (I think)
