is it possible to interchange laptop processors of E1505 (2.0 ghz) and the HP DV5000t (1.83 ghz)?

both laptops are using core duo and I want to interchange them and I do not mind voiding my warranty. are there any implications if this is done?

You void your 2 laptop warantees just to switch over the 2 cpus with little performance difference? Not advisable, but yes they can be done, no implications other than warantee issue.

if you're doing it for fun or are just being a technonerd, then go for it.

if you think you're going to see a boost in performance, you will be sadly disappointed
