question for all, what the best way to buy a new dell for the best or cheepest price. im looking to upgrade my XPS1530 with a new XPS15. been watching dell's website for over a month now watching sales but it appears Dell's sales arent much of a sale. i priced a XPS15 out the way i wanted it a little over a week ago and it came in at $1408, figured with memorial day weekend and fathers day around the corner maybe a good sale would hit. well i get an email for 30% of on select systems yesterday. the XPS15 is one of them. select it, modify to the same spec's as the one i built for $1408 and it comes in at $1458 my first thought was hmm how does 30% off end up being more expensive. anyways all but one purchase in the past has been a refurb system just figured i would go new this time but if i cant get the price down a bit lower i guess ill keep watching the refub site. any suggestions? thanks

    For brand new purchases.
You should try haggle with a phone sales rep, you might able to squeeze out an extra $100 or more and still use your coupons. Without changing your desired specification.

Post-purchase, you could remove an extra $60 to remove that extra year warranty (if applicable)and yet still keep it by calling about it.
