    chipset and memory temperatures

    i searched and searched and couldnt find anything like this so i thought ill start a new thread. i recently started monitoring my laptop temps with 18kfangui and while gaming my gpu,cpu and hdd remain cool but the memory and chipset temperatures have reached 82 degrees each!!! this cannot be good for the computer,what do u guys thinK?

    I used Sisoft Sandra to check my temperatures and this is what worries me:
    GPU (8600 GS on idle): 62 degrees
    Memory: 110 degrees!!!

    However I can't feel the heat at all... are my sensors broken??

    there are no temp sensors for the memory modules.

    Make sure you fan cooling cable is plugged in and cooling the stystem.

    As long as your CPU, GPU, and HD look ok, then you are fine. What may seem hot to you isn't hot to silicon.
