I've managed to run into some major road blocks during my clean install. First off I can't to get the bluetooth functioning or installed properly. I really need some help as to what to do first for a clean install overall. This is my first time and I'm really struggling with all the drivers and such.

I heard before that there is a video detailing the process for the m1330. Can someone provide the link? A detailed outline or advice would also be nice. Thanks for your help.

You need to install the drivers too.. They are available on the dell site, and are on the resource cd as well(for Vista). However if you are doing a clean install of XP, you need to use drivers for other models, since M1330 doesn't have official drivers for many devices yet, under XP. I think someone did a XP clean install guide over here..

First off dont panic...its simple. Follow the directions below and then smile when you have completed it; it is very simple.

PS comment on that thread as it will bring it to the front for the next guy in your situation.

I actually installed my bluetooth hardware adapter after I formatted since it didn't come with my laptop . It works fine though, be sure to check the model numbers on your parts and check if any other dell model has the same part, which could have a XP driver. Goodluck
