Just use a cloth of any sort. You gotta "buff" it out

Get a really soft cloth.. no paper towel because it just leaves behind little white dots.. or w,e the hell they are.

A old t-shirt does the job.. get it damp, not wet, damp.. and as WaveBlade said, buff them out.

Or just don't look at the lid and that usually does the trick.

I'm going to do that and then I'm covering the lid with a schticker... should make it a bit more durable.

Your fingers must be hella greasy or dirty. I can hardly see any fingerprints on mine.

You've had yours for what a day? They catch fingerprints that aren't noticeable for a day or two and then it's kinda dirty

i used a water based rubber/plastic trim dressing for cars (do not use silicone based) and it worked awesome on the vostro's which is the same matte black.. also the eagle one spray wax worked great and helped prevent prints it caused no problems or white coloring since its clear just my 2 cents
