    Hey guys just checked the Toshiba satellite x205 does it have 512mb vram????
    what is shared memory and will it perform better on games than the nvidia 8600??? Please reply :)

    The memory type is not notebook specific. vram is ambigious depending how it is said, can be dedicated or shared. Hypermemory is ATI and TurboCache is NVidia both are sharing system RAM. What card comes with that notebook? I think dedicated which is good.

    Theses are the configs i think of the base model. the lappy has been reviewed
    by this site also u can search in the search box on the top right corner and see the review the reason why i think this would be better if it has the same vram as them dell m1530 is that the toshiba one has a sub woofer!! '
    PLEASE SEE AND REPLY ABOUT IT that it has 512mb or 256mb dedicated mem.??

    That means you have 256mb Dedicated Graphics Memory and 511mb as Shared Memory bro

    i am new so how does the cache affect the performance???
    And do you think it will work the same way as a full configured(that is at its full upgrade) dell xps m1530 would and would this be a better choice???
