    configuring volume buttons on vostro/inspiron

    I installed bioshock on my vostro 1500 but whenever I change the volume, the game reads it as me pressing tilde and I go to a menu
    can I configure this somehow?

    Not really, the volume buttons are shortcut keys to Page Down and something else (or something like that). I get this problem too in CSS, no real way around it other than to get your volume set before the game or only adjust it on your headphones/speakers.
