    I am a phd student at University of Texas Health Science Center. I am going to buy a dell E-serial laptop. who knows how can I get a dell student discount? and How percentage cut off estimated?

    Assuming you can get the discount (calling Dell and/or your IT is a good way to check)...

    If (System_Price >= $1600) Discount = 12%
    Else If (System_Price < $1600) Discount = 8%

    If (Using_Dell_Preferred_Account) Discount = Discount + 4%

    If (Good_Negotiator) Discount = Discount + Random_Discount

    thank. using dell member purchase program? but it seems that it is more expensive than buying E6400 in a normal way.
