Anyone out there have any ideas why I can't go into my control panel, into my computer or into my documents. When I click on My Computer or my documents I get a search page, when I click on my control panel I get a message saying Windows can not create a shortcut. I also can't open my pictures or my music. I have tried doing a system restore but that didn't help.
    thanks.

You should probably restore your laptop. What model do you have?
