Just wanted to test my cpu performance, can you guys post what a good score or normal score for a dell 1530 notebook? Is pcmark05 a good program to benchmark cpu?

Also what was the normal score for the older T7xxx cpu series? Wanted to make a comparision.

    Here is my specs

    Penryn T9300 (2.5ghz)
    4gb DDR2 667mhz
    200GB 7200rpm
    8600GT DDR3 256mb
    6 cell battery
    1680x1050 resolution

    Thanks

I wouldn't use PCmark05 for a Penryn processor, the results will be misleading. You'll need to use the newer PCMark Vantage software for these CPUs.

dont use version 1.6 or whatever. Use version 1.55. The newest one will give you a very slow rating.

    I get 33 sec...
