I was trying to check the forums, but I see no discount coupons for the D620....does anyone have any idea of any special offers on these? I'm torn between the e1505 and the d620...being a die-hard Thinkpad user (they are now priced out of my range)...I'm looking for a "thinkpad-like" alternative and the d620 seems to fit the bill (those VAIOS are looking nice though, not the SZ, the FE and FJ). I don't game, but I do use SketchUp (lite 3D modeling) and the standard webfare...I think I can get a discount through a friend, but it's only 12% I believe.

    Any ideas please reply!

Hey! I was in the EXACT SAME bind- choosing between latitude D620 and Inspiron e1505 but I finally went with the latitude =] I had to buy a 30% epp coupon off of ebay (the promotion expires tomorrow I think) for only $2 and it saved me close to $500 in total. My entire D620 came out to $1065 which I'm ecstatic about to say the least. If you can't find a coupon - buy it from ebay

Here's the link to the specs of the notebook I ordered

Go to www.dell.com/epp then log in with your member ID, or if you don't have one select something from the drop down menu. Then go to "notebooks" on the top bar, and go down to "Latitude Notebooks", quite simple really.

    Hi inkyquills,
I have my employee and affiliates purchase program code.. Is it the same EPP you are referring to or is it different from EPP?

Also if its the same, here is my dilemma. I am planning to buy latitude 820 and I had same decision to make i.e lat vs insp.

Anyway, my question is that if I configure system without my code, I am getting 19% of latitude 820 as of today. But if I enter my code and configure same system, I am getting only 12% off.

Is there anyway I could combine both of the discounts as you have mentioned??

Plz suggest what can be done...
