    d630 keyboard vs 1520...

    the keyboard on the d630 is crisp and each key will move reliably down no matter if you hit off the centre of the key.
    The 1520 has spongy tactile feedback, and key wobbles unless you press it straight.
    The key layout is also slightly different.
    But generally I love Dell laptops (so far) because they all have two CTRL keys :)

    I had a 1520 and I now have an XPS M1330 (which has the same keyboard as the 1520) and I do not see this sponginess with the keys at all...

    I have an older Latitude d610 and a 1520 and apart from the layout both keyboards are pretty good, no wobbles at all.
