My Latitude d800's power adapter started beeping a few months ago, and then eventually died. I bought an iGo Juice70 because it comes with a compatible power tip (tip #20) but that tip doesn't recharge the battery.

This is a real pain - not that we really use the laptop away from a jack that often, but still it is a notebook not a desktop so I want to reclaim that functionality.

Anyone have any ideas on how to charge a dell battery? or have a spare d800 power adapter they are willing to sell for cheap?

(note: the ice90 adapter would supply more juice but isn't adequate either since its D800-compatble tip also will not charge the battery according to the ido website).

its pretty expensive. something like 40 dollars. Its marginally cheaper on ebay, but i am somewhat leery of ebay sellers.
