Have you tried the Administrator account? Otherwise, the easiest way would be to reinstall Windows.

    antonio007,

Are you stuck on the windows user log in screen? Is there an admin account listed? If there is try these steps to reset your password for the admin account.

    1. Restart your computer.

    2. Press the "F2" key when the operating system begins to load. This will bring you to the main BIOS menu.

    3. Use the arrow keys to scroll down to the Security settings and then hit the "Enter" key.

    4. Go to the Admin Pass section and hit the "Enter" key again.

    5. Type in the new administrator password and hit the "Enter" key when you are finished.

    6. Press the "Esc" key, and then choose "Save and Exit" to leave the BIOS settings and boot up the computer. The system will start up with the new administrator password set.

Let me know if that works!

Mourin, I don't think that is going to do anything. It's the BIOS admin password, not Windows.

Since this is a desktop, you can probably pull the CMOS battery to reset those fields, but no guarantees.

That being said, we still do not allow desktop discussion in the subforums, so please see Desktop Review or the Desktop Thread in Off Topic.
