    delivery date speed up?

    I have ordered a dell inspirion 6400. The shipment date is 7 may 2007 and delivery date is between 10 may 2007 - 14 may 2007.

    Now, i just want to know whether i will receive the laptop by 11 May 2007, because i will be going abroad for a month on 11 may 2007. Is there a way out by which i can spped up the delivery date?

    I don't see anything out of the ordinary on your order, so you should get it on time. Just make sure you are home because you need to sign for it. Mine came on a Friday and I wasn't home, had to wait until Monday for UPS to come back with it. Dell likes to get it to you before they say so it makes them look better. Have a great time abroad, I'm super envious!!!!

    You can call and talk to them about an upgrade to next day delivery because of your situation. A lot of reps will upgrade you for free. Many systems arrive early, but there's no guarantee that yours will.

    my order came in 5 days after I placed it. which is very quick considering I didn't ask for any special shipment method. I ordered an E1705, pretty much loaded. By the way, you got a very good price for your laptop.

    just chcked status of my dell order today.

    the lappy is already shipped and will be delivered by 2 May - 4 May 2007.

    These guys are really quick. I ordered on 24 april 2007.
