    IT TOOK TWO MONTHS RESEARCH :confused: BY ME TO ORDER A SYSTEM WHICH SUITS MY REQUIREMENTS AND MY POCKET. I ORDERED A DELL VOSTRO 1500 ON 25.01.2008 WITH SALES REP PROMISING THE DELIVERY IN 14 DAYS. AFTER CONFIRMATION WEB SITE DISPLAYED SHIPPED ON 26.02.2008 AND DELIVERY DATE 14.02.08...NOW I RECD AN E MAIL 2DAY STATING THAT I WILL GET DELIVERY BY 24.02.08 :(

    ITS BECOMING VERY FRUSTRATING TO WAIT SO LONG AFTER SPENDING HARD EARNED MONEY (INR 48K/ USD 1200)

    CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW I CAN GET IT EARLY. I HEARD PEOPLE GETTING F.O.C. UPGRADES ETC FOR LATE DELIVERIES. HOW I CAN GET ONE? :confused2:

    CAN ANYBODY SHARE SOME INDIAN EXPERIENCE...

    Just give them a call asking for some compensation (whether it's like $100 off, etc.) and inform them of the delays.

    Should I Ask Straightway That My Delivery Is Getting Delayed So You Should Offer Me Some Compensation Or What??

    Just call them up, don't be angry or anything, but let them know you are frustrated because your shipment was promised to you by a certain time and now it has been delayed. Let them know you were depending on your shipment arriving by the promised date and a delay is unacceptable. I would push to get your order expedited. If they cannot expedite, they may throw you a bone or two.

    Just remember, be nice and they will be nice back, but don't be afraid of being firm...if you get an impossible rep, ask for a manager.

    as told by you i called up dell india customer care but reps are repeating only one thing that ist getting delayed due to unavoidable circumstances & despite my repeated requests & calls no rep let me talk to their manager..
    now wat to do??? plz help..
