Curently trying to buy a new laptop, and as always Dell make the choice difficult.

The sticking point is delivery, if I buy a vostro I get various discounts and free delivery, but if I buy a xps or inspiron I get various discounts but have t pay delivery.

Whats the chances of getting them to waive the delivery on a xps 1530 or inspiron 1720 and still get the 10% code on top?

The chances are 38.2938 out of 100 if you call between 12 and 1 otherwise your chances drop to 36.125.

    Seriously just call and ask.

I got free standard shipping, then emailed to complain about delays, and got free next day shipping.
