Hi, the 6000 has a 15.4 inch widescreen while the 630m has a 14.1 widescreen. The weight of the 6000 is aboult 2 lbs heavier. The battery life on the 630m is over 4 hours, and it can play DVD's with out booting up the os. The 6000 gets between 2-3 hours with the regular battery. The 15.4 inch screen is quite a bit bigger, but because the resolution of the two screens is the same, the pixels on the 15.4 screen are going to be bigger, and the overall quality isn't quite as good as the 14.1. You have the option to upgrade grapics cards in the 6000 but in the 630m your stuck with intel intergrated. If you plan on playing some modern games the 6000 will handel them better, but not great. The 630m will play most games, but some at the lowest settings with really low framerates. In conclusion depending on what you need the machine for, and if you going to be traveling or leaving at home, based on these features and cons and pros decide which one will suit you best.

good choice, the 630m is the same as the XPS M140 in the U.S. by the way, so if you can find a better deal on that then go with it instead -- you also have the option of Windows Media Center with the M140 but not with the 630m (if that means anything to you)
