    hey guys,

i put my computer into standby and put it into my shinza sleeve for 4 hrs while i was in class..when I came home i noticed that my computer was extremly HOT and it was at 67 celcius ...probably even more while it was in the shinza sleeve. my battery got completely drained and i got a warning when i started up my computer saying it was a critically low. have i damaged the battery, or any components inside my computer by it getting so hot?

you should never put your notebook on standby and then put it in a bag. standy means your notebook is still generating heat. if you're going to put your notebook in a bag, power it off.

it shouldn't be damaged as there are protections built in that should hard power off your notebook when temps get critical.

    just don't do it again.
