Whenever I use the voice recorder there's this buzzing sound that beeps for around 5 seconds then stops then comes back. Also, whenever the hard drive starts spinning, this really loud wave-like sound is picked up as well.
Is there anything I can do to fix this?
Are other dell 700m having the same problem?
Should I send my laptop back?
    Thank you

There is a microphone input jack on the front side of the dell 700m, not a built in mic. So I'm just using a labtec regular microphone, you just plug it in. I like recording songs and voice notes but this buzzing sound is really annoying! Can anyone please help?

I've heard that it may be possible that the mic input is not grounded... thus explaining the buzzing noices... any ideas on how to fix that?
