Anyone with the WXGA LCD, how are the horizontal/vertical vewing angles, brightness, sharpness? I've seen the WSXGA+ in person but fonts, pictures, etc, are too small and I dont like increasing the DPI. According to dell the WXGA is less bright and the horizontal/vertical veiwing angles smaller. Is there much of a difference?

It really depends on the manufacturer of the screen. But I am really pleased with my 15.4 WXGA screen. It will not be as bright, but I have pretty good viewing angles. The difference will be in the brightness and resolution. Just my .02

It also costs more. I just bought a D820 with the regular WXGA screen since I like the screen to be easy to read and I can always run higher resolution with an external monitor. Besides, if I don't like it and find I really need the better brightness and viewing angles of the WSXGA, i'll return it.

glad to see someone who has the same views as me. i am also considering the d820 and wsxga+ is really tough on my eyes. unfortunately, i am so picky and there's definately something about increasing the dpi that really annoys me as well. let me know what you decide though
