    hi
    i hav dell E1505 and i have (2 x 512mb) memory in my lapotop.
    i wanted to upgrade it to (2 x 1gb), so can i take out two memory modules and replace it with the new 1gb modules is there gonna be any problem like loosing data, because i am taking old memories out. :confused: :confused: :confused:

    Yes, you can just take out the two 512'ers and put in the 1giggers.

    No problems with data loss. Just power down, take out the battery, replace said RAM sticks, reverse process, and go.
