What were you going to order originally? You should post this in the What Notebook Should I Buy? forum.

Have you seen a CR up close? For a Sony, their displays are crap.. horrible viewing angles. I was really surprised how bad it was when I played with one at best buy. And the mac like keyboard does not feel right either when typing on it. I originally placed an order on a CR and after reading about the bad screen/keyboard on a review.. I canceled. And after I saw one in person, I agreed with the reviewers comments.

I hate to say it, but the newer HP dv2500, dv6500 and dv9500 probably offer the closest match to price/value. I think only the dv9500 offers a 86xx nvidia card. I believe the 20 percent coupon is still on.. check the HP forum for that. I know the nice colors that dell has is a plus. And the ruby red I had briefly was outstanding. But the rest of the laptop offered nothing in styling. I know others will disagree, but for me, the colorful lid was about the only thing I liked. The Keyboard was too stiff, the display was simply horrible, it was too heavy, and no HDMI output. But from a marketing standpoint, Dell is selling alot of otherwise bland laptops by simply putting a nice lid on it. But I also give them the credit for offering faster GPU's. But again, the 84XX is all I needed so the HP was better for my needs in every way.
