When customizing a Dell XPS M1530 there is the option to add a Dell Bluetooth Travel Mouse for $30 (CAD, I'm talking about Dell.ca) under the Bluetooth component. The problem is that they don't really tell you anything about the mouse.

When I type "bluetooth travel mouse" in the search bar, the only Dell mouse that it comes up with is this. [Link]

Does anybody who's bought the mouse through the bluetooth component menu know if these are the same mice? And if they aren't what's the actual mouse like? I'm mostly intrested in it's general size and shape. Whether it has at least 3 buttons (left, right and scroll wheel) is only somewhat important.

    Hi,

does this mouse need a usb receiver, or can it work on the Bluetooth of a 1530?

    thanks,

no, the advantage of the bluetooth mouse is no usb connection

I bought it with the 1330 since it has only 2 usb ports. I'm okay with my purchase although it would have been great if the build is more sturdy and there were color choices... It's a bit heavy as it runs on 2 AA batteries.

It has 2 buttons / scroll wheel on the top and 2 tiny buttons on the side to move forward / backward while browsing.

Overall, I'm still happy with my purchase...! :)

Thanks for the info, torn between the Dell and Microsoft Bluetooth 5000, I think I´ll make an impulse decision.

It's a very nice mouse. Nice feel and good sensitivity. A little small, but I beat Crysis with it.
    At $25 it's a steal!
