The Inspiron e1505 is sold as the Inspiron 640m in Canada (same notebook). The rotten news is that coupon codes don't work in Canada though.

Fittersman: I got one spare coupon I can send it to you. Its a 20% off coupon on Inspiron 6400 with increased base price. So in reality you would save around 5% only depending upon configurations you choosed.

What options you have selected on dell.ca and what price its coming out to.

Coz dell is trying real hard to keep and not sell their lappy's this holiday season!

What's gonna happen in next 15 days is that Dell gonna come out with $1299 Inspiron 6400 with config's 160G HD( a free upgrade), Intel 945 gpu, 512mb - 1G ram, a plastic lunch box bundled, Core duo T2050 or T5500 and it will call it deal.

Don't worry about the coupons, just check dell.ca every Friday, thats when they change their pricing. The every day special deals are the best you can get.
Todays deals seem to be pretty good.

Over here we just get stupid offers like a cheapo Dell colour printer that requires high priced cables & cartridges. Sometimes free shipping & £50 off if you're lucky, or double memory. But not many 'hard cash' offers.

LOL!!! All I can say is yes.
Dell Canada is all marketing. They get those who doesn't do their homework and those who get intimidated by their gimics of coupons or specials of $xxx off, but really all they did is change the configuration and the price is usually the same or higher. You have to be very diligent with their so called deals. That's how you can get the best deal.

They change their deals every Friday and sometimes little changes Mondays.

It's really hard to tell cus their configuration is always changing. Just wait till there is a special near your specs and than compare. As for any special last year I don't know, there should be, but I only started researching since June.

Dell Canada's boxing day deals starts this Friday.
It seems right now they are busy clearing up their inventory of T5600 based laptops, 120G HD's and ATI 1300 gpu's.

Recently Dell CFO announced that he will be leaving the company. There's a SEC investigation going on in Dell Accounting practices.

The other Santa, that is Santa Rosa is coming in feb end. Not sure when this will show up in dell laptops.

I might get penalized for this response but mynotebookreview.com offers prizes such as coupons just for registering. or you can www.google.com & probably find a promotion there as well. The nice thing about those custom computer companies is the price, but shipping always gets you in the end. What did the shipping run you if you don't mind?
