Hi, I just got a Dell d630, but found myself losing ports vs. an older hp zv6000. Does anyone know how can I cannect my eSATA external hdd? Also, since the video card is NVIDIA quadro 135, how can I connect it to a hd TV and a blue ray player?
Otherwise, I like my new investment, very portable& powerful, exceeds my expectations.
I appreciate any comments. I did not find the answer in several previous posts.
    Thanks !

Find a USB/eSATA connector for the eSATA drive.

For the TV, it depends on what kind of input connectors your TV has. Most simple and probably successful option is just to use an s-video cable; almost all TVs have an s-video input these days.

Maybe a better alternative to eSATA/USB converters (if such things even exist) would be a PCMCIA eSATA card. To connect a HDTV set, pretty much the only option is the VGA port or an PCMCIA DVI connection card.

Thanks for both replies. I want to hook my dell to a High Def TV w/ 1080, HDMI port. Do I need a docking port or PCMCIA/express card to HDMI ? or may be another port adaptor...? I would actually prefer a docking port, as I would gain some USB ports, audio etc
    Thanks
